In many a time we can
predict the profitability of companies with simple logic. For instance if it is
too hot, more people buy Air Conditioners. But sometimes the disposable income
of consumers can tweek this demand-supply. While the companies would sit on
huge hopes of high sales, consumes could postpone their purchase due to various
factors.
The Rs.13000 Cr Indian
Airconditioner market went through rough patch like any other industry for the
past 2 years. With revival in sentiments and hopes on new government, this
industry is expected to grow at 13% YOY over next few years.
50% of Airconditioner
components are imported. Hence a higher dollar did hurt this industry which went
on to hike their price in past few years inspite of weak demand.
With revival in economy, there is some visibility. Some of the lead
