Monsoon starts poorly:

Monsoon has kicked off poorly with scanty rain. Below shown chart is quiet illustrative. Pray monsoon revives - otherwise inflation will stay high - spoiling all the hopes of the new government and its revival plan.

Though the start of the monsoons doesn’t appear to be healthy however water reservoir levels remain significantly higher (~153%) than their 10-year average level, which should provide a buffer in case of a weaker monsoon season, as per the latest report from the Ministry of Agriculture. Also, month of July and August will be crucial to understand the actual level of monsoon received.
