• Launched India’s 1^st corporate hospital in 1983.
• Today Apollo is Asia’s largest healthcare group, with over 8438 beds across 51 hospitals, 1560 pharmacies, 92 primary care and diagnostic clinics and 100 telemedicine units across 10 countries.
• Of the 51 hospital, 38 are directly controlled with 6400 beds and 13 are managed with 2038 beds.
• Plans to add 1000 beds this year.
• Also planst to set up retail healthcare centres like lifestyle birthing centre, dental speciality centre, primary and diagnostic clinics focused on ailments like hypertension and diabetes.
• Apollo Reach hospitals – in tier II and tier III cities like Karur, Karimnagar-andhra, Karaikudi, Ashvanagaram, Nellore, Trichy and Nashik.
